Yes, my last name is Beard. Yes, I know I don’t have a Beard and probably never will because I still look like I’m five, people need to quit reminding of this. Two time little league all star and one time league champ. I am on the baseball team at Chatham University and I enjoy hosing dudes who think they can steal on me. I am a rare and endangered species, a native Floridian. That is probably why I am so hot. Follow me on twitter @chandler_beard4.

I hail from Yonkers, New York by way of Clemson, South Carolina. I’m a lifelong Giants, Mets, and Knicks fan. After witnessing the Miracle at the Meadowlands Part II in person, combined with years of ineptitude on and off the field of play from the Mets and Knicks, I moved down South and was relieved to adopt the Clemson Tigers as my college team of choice. I believe Giants players own the two greatest catches in NFL history, James Dolan and the Wilpons are conspiring to ruin New York sports, and I’m still campaigning for Deshaun Watson to win that Heisman. In addition to writing for Armchair All-Americans, I am a comedian and improviser with the Alchemy Comedy Theater in Greenville, South Carolina.

Ever since I was very young, I have lived and breathed Tar Heel Sports. Born and raised in Chapel Hill, attending games at Kenan Stadium and the Smith Center have been huge parts of my life. I play sports as well. Growing up, I played football, basketball, and baseball. Now, at age 16, I am currently playing football for East Chapel Hill High School. I have aspired to be a sportswriter for some time now, and I am excited to be writing for Armchair All-Americans. Aside from sports, I love my family, my dog, and the beach. It should also be known that I am a very big Luke Maye supporter (and have been even BEFORE he made the game winner versus Kentucky).

I'm a UNC writer and the ACC Social Media Manager for Armchair All-Americans. I grew up in Atlanta knowing that I was going to be the next Maddux or Glavine. Unfortunately, I never hit six feet tall, 4.4 in the 40-yard dash, 90 m.p.h. on the radar gun, or 50 home runs. So I decided to do my sports from my armchair and behind a computer screen. My favorite all-time sports moment? 1992. NLCS. Game 7. Sid Bream. Look it up. Worst sports moment ever? Two words: Kris. Jenkins. I live in the bustling metropolis of Webb City, MO, where ministry is my full-time job. I spend my free time with my beautiful wife and son.

I always wanted to be an NFL player, but 5'11 lineman normally don't get drafted, unless their name is Aaron Donald. Most likely I've already peaked in high school. I love all kinds of sports, but I write about FSU for Armchair, where I also attend school. Yes, Florida State is better than your favorite school in whatever sport you name (that includes water polo). Don't ever play me in Madden or 2k, otherwise, I'll put you to shame. I'm at tscheetos on Xbox, come at me. Follow me on twitter at @samtschida67 for hot football takes and other dumb tweets.

Growing up in South Carolina, you were one of two things, a Gamecock fan or a Clemson fan. I had the luck of having smart parents who gave me my first Clemson jersey when I was 7. Ever since, my interest in Clemson football has never ceased. Some say it's an unhealthy obsession, I say “ Hey bud, shut the hell up I'm watching the 2003 Clemson vs Georgia Tech game to see how we can win in Atlanta again.” I know I can't control the outcome of a game but hey, we finally won in Atlanta after I watched the game, so you tell me. After this year, I will be transferring up to Clemson where I can constantly fuel my “addiction” while studying to be a broadcast journalist.

Hi y’all! I am a Southern soul stuck in a Michigan girl’s body. One day I will escape these six month winters. But I have cherished every moment of growing up in Northern Michigan and attending a small high school where the morale of the town varies depending on the weather and how our sports teams are playing. I was raised in the maize and blue worshipping Tom Brady, Bo, and Charles Woodson. Every Fall Saturday began with me, my brothers, and my dad huddled in the living room watching College GameDay. We cheered on Michigan, Alabama (my younger brother is a bandwagoner), and any team playing Ohio State. And Sundays were designated to preventing my dad from having a heart attack while watching the Detroit Lions wait until the fourth quarter to actually play a game. In a nutshell, sports, to me, have always been extremely emotional and that’s why I became a fan.

I’m Tommy Butler. Having been born and raised in State College, PA, I’ve bled Blue and White my whole life. Now at 20 years old, I’m a sports broadcast journalism student at Penn State. I’ve been living my dream of covering all Nittany Lion sports with various clubs and radio stations on campus. That said, during the Summer I cover Boston and New England teams for various websites, sometimes live-tweeting games @ButlerOnTheAir. With a family full of New Englanders I was raised a Boston fan, no bandwagon here. Hopefully I represent my allegiances well. I love the extraordinary: switch hitters/pitchers, knuckleballers, or anyone with an interesting story. I get incredibly worked up about impressive or rare stats in sports. I hope you enjoy my work!

My name is Will Desauelle and I am a sophomore at Penn State University, majoring in journalism and Spanish. I grew up in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, which is right outside of Philadelphia, so I became absorbed in all of the Philadelphia sports teams at a young age. When I was young I particularly enjoyed watching the Phillies and going to their games at Citizens Bank Park. One of my favorite childhood memories was going to game 4 of the World Series in 2008 and then seeing them win it for the second time in franchise history a couple days later. I also have always been an ardent supporter of Penn State football, since my mother is an alum there, and my family has had season tickets for years. As I got older I decided that I really would like to become a sports writer. Now I am involved in Penn State's CommRadio and write for gopsusports.com. You can contact me at [email protected] or follow me on Twitter: @wdesautelle

Growing up I knew two things, I loved sports and I was a talented writer. With that in mind I set out to begin my career in sports journalism. As a lifelong fan of Spartan athletics, I decided to attend MSU and later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism. My other sports passion is Detroit sports, specifically the Detroit Lions (still waiting to witness my first playoff win). Since graduating from MSU, I have had the opportunity to write for various publications including MLive and Detroit Sports Nation. I am now excited to join Armchair All Americans and help cover Michigan State recruiting. Besides sports, I enjoy playing video games and listening to all kinds of genres of rock music. I currently reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan with my wife Melissa.

My name is Collin Ginnan and I am majoring in Journalism and Spanish, as well as minoring in Business, at The Ohio State University. I grew up playing baseball year-round from t-ball through high school, and have been grateful to watch 18 championship-less seasons for the Cincinnati Reds. Coming from a family of Buckeyes, I was raised living and breathing Ohio State football. To the best of my memory, I have not missed a single game to date. Ohio State vs. Penn State during Homecoming? That’s what the Watch ESPN app is for. Besides the Buckeyes and Reds, I follow the Blue Jackets, Browns, Cavaliers, FC Cincinnati, and Liverpool FC.

There’s an old saying in sports fandom; “If you’re a fan of a winning team, you’re a fan of the winning. If you’re a fan of the losing team, then you’re a fan of the team.” And as an NYCFC, Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Rutgers fan, I might as well have that quote tattooed on my back in big bold letters. Winning is not a sports culture I’m familiar with. I haven’t felt the sensation of seeing my team hoist a championship, make a deep playoff run, or even just qualify for a playoff spot since I became a sports fan eight years ago. I’ve felt disappointment, heartbreak, frustration, and even fits of rage cheering for these teams (special shout out to the Knicks for that last one). But I can say with pride that my faith in these teams hasn’t wavered through the years, and it never will! No matter how hard I try.

My name’s James King, and I’m a 22-year-old Sports Journalism major at the almighty Rutgers University. I’m from central New Jersey (yes it exists) right on the beach in a town called Neptune. I grew up playing baseball and football, but being 5’7” and deficient of speed doesn’t get you much after high school graduation. My passion for sports and obvious deep love for keyboards has brought me to this lovely place here. I bleed green for my beloved New York Jets (it will sound good one day, just wait). The Boston Celtics and Red Sox hold the other two-thirds of my sports heart. With that said, you can usually find me kicked back somewhere with a brew giving my usually disagreeable sports opinions.

In life, I always apply one simple principle: Be nice to people and they will be nice to you. This is sometimes a problem because I am a huge follower of the New York sports teams and the Miami Hurricanes. While the final team does not make sense, I’ll let you know that they were my first sports team that I followed and have stuck with them ever since. This longtime connection is a sign of my loyalty which now show for Penn State. Firm believer in the message of James Harrison and participation medals. It’s always good to be nice to me, which is hard when you come from the Jersey Shore.

My name is Carter Sieben, and I’m a highschool student from Minnesota, I play hockey and like fishing.I have been a Minnesota Gopher fan my whole life. I started really liking the Gophers when Kill first got hired as our Football coach, I would always look forward to Saturdays because I loved cheering the gophers on, I also really like the Gophers basketball team and I started liking them when Tubby Smith was the coach, my dad would always watch the games and I enjoyed watching them with him. Now I am a diehard Gopher Football and Hoops fan, and I will never miss a game the rest of my life. My past writing experiences include making rankings for Youthhockeyhub and writing articles for Gopher247. I have always wanted to do something with sports for my career ever since I was young, as I was a stat guy and a diehard fan for basically every sport. I’m looking forward to continue my writing career with Armchair, and hopefully it opens the doors for more opportunities in the future!

I am recent graduate of The Ohio State University who is currently following his dream of sports writing. I was born in Wayne, New Jersey and played football in high school all four years. In college I stuck to intramural basketball. Although not much of a scorer, I liked to consider myself a real gritty “bring your lunch pale to work” power forward with playing style being described as a mix between Reggie Evans and Rick Mahorn. I am a lifelong Denver Broncos and New York Yankees fan, a skeptical yet optimistic New Orleans Pelicans fan, and above all else a die hard Ohio State fan. @DSmythTheMyth18

Hi, I’m Sydney S. Tucker, a mass communications major at Purdue University. As a former athlete, I developed my passion for sports. I’ve always been the girl who participated in every sport in gym class. Becoming more competitive as I got to high school, I began to fall in love with sports. As a girl, my athletic abilities were always challenged. Until, I threw a football halfway down the field or scored a half-court shot. I know, cool right lol? In addition, I gained interests in all aspects of the media field. It was always like a tug-of-war trying to balance being an athlete and being involved on the side lines as a reporter in high school. Once I got to college, I decided to combine the two and that's how I became an aspiring sports broadcaster.

My name is Jakob Brandenburg and I’m a senior journalism major at Baylor University. I’ve witnessed it all during my time in Waco. A miraculous 21-point fourth quarter comeback to beat TCU in 2014. An equally miraculous, but much more disappointing, blown 21-point fourth quarter lead against Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl that same year. I’ve stormed the field after winning a Big 12 Championship, and broadcast games from the radio booth as the Bears have fought their way to an 0-8 record (at the time of writing this. It can still get worse.) Through it all, I’ve been assured that there is nothing I’d rather be doing than working in sports media. Every time I walk into an arena or stadium on game day, I fall in love all over again and am humbled to cover the sports we love, and tell the stories of the athletes that make them great.

As a kid, I never watched sports, although I did play a lot sports. During high school I really got into sports, I loved the competitiveness, the passion people had, and I just loved the atmosphere. My senior year, I got into journalism and began to write and discovered how much I loved writing about athletes and their stories. I want to use Armchair as an opportunity to build myself and put myself out into the journalism world. I am from a town called Salina and moved to Lawrence, Kansas to go to college at the University of Kansas. I am a freshman currently majoring in both journalism and business marketing. Some other things about me: I love photography and music (I’m trying to become a DJ at KU’s radio station).

I would describe myself as a self-motivated, dedicated sports fanatic that loves football over any other game. My family is definitely the motivation for my success. I was born in Houston, grew up in Dallas. My fandom is messy and confusing, being a Texans/Mavericks/Rangers/Astros/Texas/Oregon fan. I’m a 90s millennial, so I grew up playing video games. NCAA Football was and always will be my favorite game, it’s an absolute travesty amateurism ruined that franchise. That game is also the main reason for my Oregon fandom outside of becoming fascinated watching Dennis Dixon. I grew up a Longhorns fan, being in the heart of Texas and all and my mother being a graduate. Texans were my first hometown pro franchise, and I grew up watching the Astros. I wrote for Fansided for 2 years covering the Texans, and it was a blast. I’ll be around, follow me on Twitter @EthanLington

I wrote for Fansided for 2 years covering the Texans, and it was a blast. I’ll be around, follow me on Twitter @EthanLington

Growing up in Southern California, I fell in love with sports at a very young age. Los Angeles sports is what shaped my love and passion for the world of sports; through this city’s historic teams and passionate fan base, I developed a strong connection with sports and my teams in LA. I have experienced many incredible sports moments in my life, and as a diehard LA Sports fan I have truly been blessed with many defining moments in sports history. From the Kobe Shaq era of the Lakers, to USC’s dominate run in College Football, to Kobe reviving the LakeShow for back-to-back titles, to the Kings’ improbable run in the NHL, there has been no shortage of excitement in the City of Angels. My passion for LA sports has never dwindled, even as an Oregon State graduate, my love for this city’s teams has grown even stronger along with my love of Beaver athletics.

My name is Tj Barnett and I am an avid sports fan. I grew up in Louisville, KY (don’t worry, I’d rather run my head through a thousand brick walls than be a UofL fan). Ever since I was 2 years old, I was rocking UK booties and mumbling the fight song. It was all UK basketball until I discovered the Cincinnati Bengals and the Reds in ’05 then the Miami Heat in ’06. Ever since then, I’ve lived and breathed sports! My Twitter account is where I avidly voice my opinion in relation to sports, and I’m always ready for a good argument.

I have religiously followed South Carolina football since the Spurrier Era, the short lived Shawn Elliot fill-in and now the Coach Boom era. My Saturdays are filled with football, cold beer, a poster of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition of Kate Upton, and Steak cooked on my cheap George Foreman. Three Rules: One, never underestimate your opponent, expect the unexpected Two, take it outside, never start anything in the bar unless its absolutely necessary and Three, be nice

My name is Kevin Luthringer. I am a 23-year-old lifelong Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. So yes, as many other fans I have experienced a plethora of excruciating losses. Yes, I know the Cowboys have won 5 Super Bowls, but I lived through the 21-year playoff drought for a team that is covered by national media as much as anyone. So I heard about it often. Then you have the Razorbacks. The Hogs have done a lot of losing, and more often than not, they find a way do so in a ridiculous fashion by blowing double-digit halftime leads. So, with that being said, there will always be something to write about.

Hello and welcome to the bio of Trevor Jossart. I am a life-long follower of college sports and all that is Big Ten and have seen more heartbreaking losses in my lifetime than one person should. If you couldn’t tell from the previous statement, I am a diehard Wisconsin Badgers fan and enjoy nothing more than hitting up Camp Randall on a game day. I will soon have my Master’s Degree in Sports Marketing and Media and hope to one day use my sports knowledge to help enlighten those who think passing the ball on the goal line in the Super Bowl is a good idea. I am an avid hater of bandwagons, so if you say you are an Alabama football fan and Duke basketball fan, we cannot be friends.

My name is Zach Regelin, I am a student at the University of Oregon, and I live and breathe sports. As a lifelong Oregonian, being a sports fan can be a constant struggle. Instead of asking myself whether my local NBA team can compete for a title, I wonder which future superstar we passed on in the draft. Even my own school -- which has had plenty of success over the years -- always seems to come up short in the biggest moments. Despite the frequent heartbreaks, I wouldn't trade my fandom of Oregon sports for any other team with a more lucrative history. It will just make the eventual championship that much sweeter.

I grew up in the only hilly part of Indiana, an unholy place where Reds, Cardinals, and Cubbie fans all live in semi-harmony. Hi my name is Daniel Plocher and I am a junior at Wisconsin Lutheran College. I am the Editor-in-Chief of our student newspaper and love writing for Armchair. I was raised in California, however I love all Detroit sports. My family is really weird because one side of the family is all Detroit and Michigan fans, and the other side is huge into Wisconsin sports and Michigan St fans. We are literally a family divided by sports. Because of this, I cheer for the Brewers and the Bucks to ease a bit of tension. I mainly write for Armchair Tigers, but I also write some pieces for my other fandoms as well.

I’m a student at the University of Maryland. I’ve been a baseball fan since I was six and started reading the Chicago Tribune sports section every Sunday morning. Before Maryland, I got a degree from Indiana University, where I watched Kyle Schwarber pulverize baseballs for two years. I even interviewed him once in a media scrum so I’m sure he remembers me. If you need someone to tell you who won the World Series in a given year, I’m your man: I have them all memorized (the year you’re thinking of was probably the Yankees).

Loving sports was never really an option for me. If you were raised in a family that repaints the living room because the yellow walls and the red couches would be reminiscent of USC, you know what I mean. If you were raised in a family that names their eldest son Riley after Pat Riley, their cat Magic after Magic Johnson, their dog Fisher after Derek Fisher, and multiple fish Kobe, you know what I mean. When it came time for me to choose a career, my love of sports (and distaste of most subjects other than English) led me to Sports Journalism. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I absolutely adore the Los Angeles Lakers, and hate the Boston Celtics; I love UCLA and despise USC. I’m working towards making my family proud and I don’t intend to stop anytime soon.

My name is Trevor Goldstein and I am the most typical kid in the world. I was born and raised in the Bay Area. Now I go to The Ohio State University where I am majoring in Sports Industry. I love my Buckeyes, but I also love my Niners, Sharks, Giants, and Warriors. I spend my free time watching sports as well as my studying time watching sports. I even spend some valuable sleeping time watching sports as West Coast teams don’t start playing their home games until 10:30 ET. I can have a conversation about all 122 major sports teams with knowledgeable fans from each of those teams. I can do the same for college sports . I love the Olympics. Steph Curry is my favorite athlete. I’m still a Tiger Woods fan and believer. During the Sochi Olympics, I woke up at 4:30 each gameday morning to watch USA hockey. The best sports moment ever was the 1980 US Men’s Hockey Team (I’ve seen Miracle probably more than 50 times). The best of my lifetime was the swimming events in the Beijing Olympics with Michael Phelps. Ian Darke is a great commentator. Oh, and I won Band Nerd Award during my senior year in high school. Okay, maybe I’m not all that typical but sports are my life and writing about them will only allow me to further procrastinate doing my boring homework.

I’ve been living the Toronto sports lifestyle since I was a kid. Thus, I’ve become pretty accustom to being let down by my favourite teams for a long, long time (the 2006 NBA Draft and the John Ferguson Jr. Era are still two memories I’m trying to suppress). After attempting an athletic career in many sports such as basketball, hockey, and rugby I realized that my specific talents were more suited towards the Armchair style of sports indulgence. I love all things basketball, specifically the Toronto Raptors, the NBA Draft, and college basketball. I’m also a big fan of soccer, supporting Arsenal FC and keeping up with European soccer in general. Finally, I’m a firm believer that 2011 Derrick Rose was the most electrifying player to watch since Allen Iverson, and nobody has come close since.

Hey Guys! Although I go by Jack professionally, my popular nickname is J.T. I’ve been raised in a small suburb outside the great city of Chicago, so obviously I live and breathe Chicago sports. Out of the four major sports (NHL, NFL, MLB, and NBA), I am the most knowledgeable and most interested in the NBA. I can talk for as long as I want about anything relating to the NBA or basketball in general, but I’m not afraid to indulge myself in new sports topics each and every single day. I am currently attending Marquette University and plan to pursue a degree (and hopefully a career) in sports journalism.

Born in Montreal, Canada, raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Currently enrolled as a junior at Miami University, where I’m completing a major in Sports Management. Two things have played significant roles in shaping me into the man I am today: family and sports. Growing up in Louisville, I was immediately attached to the sport of basketball. As shady as things may be, I’m a die-hard Louisville Cards fan. R.I.P. to the Ricky P Era, ‘twas special. I’ll be writing about the Brooklyn Nets, who hold a special place in my heart. I began following the Nets in 2009, when Louisville superstar Terrence Williams was drafted by New Jersey in the first-round. The Nets went 12-70 that year.

I am an undergraduate student at Middle Tennessee State University. My goal is to eventually become a sports agent. I was born in Texas in 1996 and moved to Tennessee as an infant, and have lived here ever since. My passion for sports started at a young age. One of my favorite sports memories growing up was during the 2007 Super Bowl when my Dad’s Chicago Bears were defeated by Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. My dad was excitedly screaming “Go! Go! Go!” at the TV when Devin Hester returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. I have been obsessed with football ever since, especially my hometown Tennessee Titans. Along with the Titans, I also love the Nashville Predators and Chicago Cubs. When I’m not watching sports in my free time, I enjoy cooking, golfing, and am a huge Star Wars fanatic.

I'm Andrew Cabatingan, and I only know three things for sure. One, any NFL kicker not named Stephen Gostkowski (GOATkowski) is absolute garbage and cannot be trusted. Two, Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback there ever was or ever will be. Three, I am prone to outbursts of Patriots homerism and any hyperbolic statements I make should be taken as sarcasm. If you’re looking for real facts about me, I suppose I would start by saying I am a sophomore at Northeastern University, I love all Boston sports, everything Game of Thrones (kudos to you if you can find the reference I made earlier), reading, singing, and arguing with strangers on the Internet. I hope that any preexisting bias due to any of this does not begin to seep into my writing, but if it does, I have the peace of mind of knowing that some snarky commenter will probably point it out.

Since I was five, I’ve wanted to talk about sports for a living. I’m my school’s broadcaster for sports games and the sports producer and sports anchor for our news show. I also write some stuff for the school paper. I’m a former athlete and a current NFL Draft and fantasy football enthusiast. Best fantasy moments: drafting Chris Johnson in 2009 and pairing Le’Veon Bell with my keeper, David Johnson, in 2016. Most prized possession: a national first place for making a sports highlight. Second-most prized possession: a pair of American flag boxers. Not related to the other 112 Zach Cohens on social media.

Born and raised in South Florida, I’m a lifelong Dolphins, Marlins, Heat, and Panthers fan. While my Patriot-fan friends have seen 5 Super Bowl victories since 2000, I’ve seen my Fins in the playoffs only three times, even though I’ve predicted them as a playoff team nearly every season (I blame Brady). I think that NFL players should be allowed to celebrate anyway they want, and it’s all the Miami Hurricanes’ fault that players can’t celebrate the way they want.

My name is Jacob Gurney and I have always been considered to be “athletically average.” But being a quick learner, I soon accrued an expansive knowledge of the various sports I played growing up. For example, I learned that I am horrible at catching fly balls under pressure and that I can’t dribble a basketball to save my life. Through sports I have gained not only an appreciation for the game, but I have learned valuable lessons as well. I am a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan and I truly believe that college football is life. In addition to the Scarlet and Gray, I root for the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cleveland Browns. Growing up a Cleveland fan in rural Northwest Ohio, the most important lesson that I have learned is how to cope with being eternally disappointed and emotionally distraught. Articles will not only be laced with humor, but will also display a willful perpetuation of the endless revolution of many Ohio professional sports fan sentiments—a cycle which constantly fluctuates among unrealistic optimism, aggressive confusion, and numbing sorrow.

I'm a Denver, Colorado native that loves almost all sports. I have a beautiful daughter that means the world to me and she also loves to watch sports. Sometimes I can be very opinionated when debating or discussing sports, but if you love a team you will definitely debate it out to the fullest. I like to be adventurous and experience the outdoors, play sports with friends, golf when I have the time and experience new foods and activities. I also want to visit other ballparks and stadiums to support Colorado teams and experience the culture at those venues. So feel free to debate or discuss sports with me anytime even if we don't agree.

My name is William LaFiandra, and I'm a college student attending the College of the Holy Cross. I'm a big fan of the New England Patriots but also follow any NFL related news. I've always enjoyed both writing and sports, so I figured I'd give sports journalism a try. I particularly like analyzing and reading about NFL contracts, rosters, strategies, free agency, and the draft.

I am a recent graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Journalism. I've been a Titans fan my entire life, even through the Jake Locker years. When Chris Johnson was released, I shed a tear. I still wear my Steve McNair Oilers jersey to games and believe Jeff Fisher is a legend. I hope you enjoy my writing half as much a I enjoyed watching Marcus throw 4 touchdowns against the Packers.

I am Will “Big Red” Ovington, a native of Montgomery County, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. I was born and bred a DC sports fan, following the Redskins, Capitals, Wizards and Nationals through thick and thin despite all the recent heartbreaks. Dad got to see the heyday of DC sports and swears my generation and I cursed the city. In the Spring of 2017, I graduated from Salisbury University, a small, Division III school on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, with a degree in communications with a track to journalism, and minoring in English and film. I played football at one of the nation’s top high schools, Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) alongside some young current and future NFL talent. While I lack the physical gifts of Stefon Diggs and Kendall Fuller, I’ve decided to keep my passion for sports alive by becoming a writer. #HTTR #RockTheRed #dcRising #IBackNats

I am a college student, born and raised in central Indiana. Somehow, I grew up a diehard fan of the Vikings, Cubs, and Pacers. My entire life, I had never witnessed a championship for one of my teams, so when the Cubs pulled it off last season, I didn’t know what to do or say. My Twitter (@lparrish22) is filled with upset and disappointed tweets, including having to watch John Lackey every five days and the infamous Blair Walsh miss. No matter how hard it is to watch my teams choke every year, I always hold out hope. “Next year” is the most common saying in my household.

As a Journalism major at Keene State College, I am pursuing my dream of becoming a sports journalist. Sports have always been at the center of my life, and I am excited about the possibility of combing that with my talent for writing. As a Boston sports fan, I’m loyal to all Boston teams, but the Bruins are very special to me. For as long as I can remember I have been a diehard Bruins fan. I hope to convey my dedication to the Bruins through my writing. However, I aim to remain as unbiased as possible and give a realistic view of how things look in my opinion. In the future, I hope to keep the future of sports broadcast and journalism alive in ways that adapt to changing technology and keep fans interested.

For all of you that do not see my name above, my name is Joseph Fazio and I am the department head of Armchair Indy. I am a freshman at Oklahoma State University #GoPokes as a sports media major. To start off, I am from the great state of Massachusetts and I'm a diehard Boston sports fan. Favorite sports moment has to be Big Papi's walk-off home run in Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS. Nobody will ever be as clutch as David Ortiz, ever. Other than Boston sports, I am a supporter of Manchester City FC and Juventus FC. If you ever happen to be at Oklahoma State on game day, there is a 100% chance you will find me there.

Hey, I’m Elijah and I am a sophomore at Olivet College. I’m a baseball player at heart and in reality. I am an actuarial science major (most people reply with “ew”, “why?”, or “what’s that?”), so I like to think that I’m good with numbers. Hopefully that will help me keep you on the cutting edge of your fantasy league, not to mention mine. I believe in all the hype that follows advanced metrics, no doubt. But at the same time, I’m still a huge advocate of those old-fashioned stats. I’m also a big gut-feeling guy, although occasionally it will let me down. I’ve been an avid fan of baseball fan in general since I can remember. I’m a Tigers’ fan, so sorry in advance for the bias. Feel free to follow me on Instagram/Twitter @Elijah_Huebner.
