Born and raised in State College, Pa., I’ve bled Blue and White my whole life. Now 22 years old, I graduated from Penn State with a degree in sports broadcast journalism with the class of 2019. I’ve been living my dream of covering all Nittany Lion sports in a variety of forms - from in the booth to on a mic, on paper and on the air. That said, during the summer I cover Boston and New England teams, sometimes live-tweeting games @ButlerOnTheAir. With a family full of New Englanders I was raised a Boston fan. No bandwagon here. Hopefully I represent my allegiances well. I love the extraordinary: switch hitters/pitchers, knuckleballers, or anyone with an interesting story. I get incredibly worked up about impressive or rare stats in sports. I hope you enjoy my work!

Sup. I watched the Kingdome implode from atop Elliott Bay in 2000 and have been perpetually depressed about the Mariners since. Luckily, the Huskies provided plenty relief, proving how horrific Seattle baseball is that a college football team who went 0-12 in that time span was a preferable option. My first Washington football game involved two year-old me’s eardrums getting wrecked by crowd noise every touchdown. In other words, my ears hurt once in the third quarter. (Just kidding – this was the 90s, when Washington football pwn’d n00bs.) Then the 2000s happened, spawning two tragedies: Oregon football relevance and The Simple Life. Now do me a favor and tweet @derekwaterss so he'll let me on Drunk History to tell the story of UW's Ivy League-upendin', Nazi-beatin' 1936 crew team.

I am an author, copy-editor, rancher, sports writer, and father who spends his free time devouring sports statistics in an attempt to be the best armchair general manager my family has ever had the pleasure of ignoring. My wife watches more football than me. Despite that, I still think you care about what I have to say. Reach me at [email protected]

MLB Department Head | The Armchair All-Americans, LLC
I’m a 22-year-old Seattle Mariners fan who is into everything baseball. I was born in Kent, WA in 1995 and was six the last time they made the playoffs. I played the sport myself through high school, and once I realized I wasn’t good enough at playing, I knew I had to go a different route to continue to be around the game I love. In June of 2017 I graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Eastern Washington University. I wrote for the school newspaper during my two years there covering the athletic department as well as the football and basketball teams. Going forward, I aim to keep writing and hope to cover the sport I love.

NBA Department Head | The Armchair All-Americans, LLC
My name is Marc Weems and I am the NBA Department Head. Writing been a passion of mine for quite sometime. Although most of my teams make me sad, writing is still enjoyable. Not as enjoyable as watching the Packers or Yankees lose but pretty damn close. I also enjoy long walks on short piers that lead into swamps. I've taken this opportunity to better myself and to also grow this brand. All while hoping people decently enjoy my work. I'm like a free agent but even my favorite teams would forget to sign this superstar.

NFL Department Head | The Armchair All-Americans, LLC
I grew up like most Philly fans in the 90s; watching my dad scream obscenities at the TV as the Eagles lost a heartbreaker. I idolized Allen Iverson (still do), and cried my eyes out when the Sixers lost four straight to the Lakers in the 2001 NBA Finals. I've seen some dark days in Philly, but have always Trusted the Process. Still have not stopped celebrating Super Bowl 52 and don't plan on it anytime soon. Eagles are Super Bowl CHAMPS! Follow me on twitter @matthewlucci_ for some betting "advice" and @matthewlucci on Instagram for stupid pics of me.

I am a recent graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Journalism. I've been a Titans fan my entire life, even through the Jake Locker years. When Chris Johnson was released, I shed a tear. I still wear my Steve McNair Oilers jersey to games and believe Jeff Fisher is a legend. I hope you enjoy my writing half as much a I enjoyed watching Marcus throw 4 touchdowns against the Packers.

MLS Department Head | The Armchair All-Americans, LLC
I am Caylor Feltman, currently located in Tuscaloosa, AL getting my Masters degree in Sports Management at UA. I’m working as an assistant with Event Management in the Athletic Department. My sports of choice include football and fútbol, as well as basketball, but I’m one of those people who is just enthralled by human competition. So if it’s on, I’ll watch it. I’m also one of those people who has a hierarchy of fanhood. If my team isn’t playing, I’ll root for my division/conference, so don’t be surprised if you see me tweet (@TheSeltrain) about Aaron Rodgers or LSU. Just know that you won’t ever see me favour Manchester City, Chelsea, or the Patriots. #BearDown #USMNT #USWNT #Rapids96 #MUFC #RollTide #Smashville

INDY Department Head | The Armchair All-Americans, LLC
For all of you that do not see my name above, my name is Joseph Fazio and I am the department head of Armchair Indy. I am a freshman at Oklahoma State University #GoPokes as a sports media major. To start off, I am from the great state of Massachusetts and I'm a diehard Boston sports fan. Favorite sports moment has to be Big Papi's walk-off home run in Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS. Nobody will ever be as clutch as David Ortiz, ever. Other than Boston sports, I am a supporter of Manchester City FC and Juventus FC. If you ever happen to be at Oklahoma State on game day, there is a 100% chance you will find me there.
