Last week on Dana White’s Contender Series, three more athletes secured their place in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Billy Quarantillo, Jamahal Hill and Sean Woodson were each given a UFC contract by Dana White. To date, 16 MMA fighters have earned UFC deals as a result of appearing on Contender Series.

Tuesday, the second half of the program’s third season begins with five more fights.

Highlighting week six of the season is a Light Heavyweight main event between two undefeated combatants.

Aleksa Camur and Fabio Cherant, both 4-0, will square off in the featured fight of this week’s episode.

Contender Comparison:

Tapology had no reach information for either contestant in this fight at the time of this writing. Aleksa Camur, an Ohio product from Broadview Heights, near the Cleveland area, stands six feet even.

No such information was accessible on Tapology as of this writing for Fabio Cherant.

As previously mentioned, both fighters in this main event enter with undefeated 4-0 professional records.

Dating back to his amateur mixed martial arts career, Camur has gone 8-0.

Most recently, he scored a first-round knockout (punches) against Marvin Skipper in Honor FC 6: Fight at Nautica last August at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland on FITE TV in that card’s main event.

In the other corner, Fabio Cherant has gone 7-1 as an MMA fighter dating back to his time as an amateur.

Last time out, he won via second-round submission (rear-naked choke) during CES MMA 53 last November vs. Ron Marshall.

Prediction: Aleksa Camur by first-round KO.

Rodrigo Nascimento (6-0) vs. Michael Martinek (7-0) [Heavyweight]
