GAME INFORMATION:

LINE  Vikings (-11)
OVER/UNDER  42

Vikings’ Key Player:

Pat Elflein and his status for this game will be crucial. The Vikings had virtually no run game last week in Carolina in his absence. On the other side, the Bengals struggled mightily against the Bears in theIR run game. If Elflein can return, the Vikings can shred the Cincinnati defense for 60 minutes.

Bengals’ Key Player:

William Jackson III has been phenomenal for the Bengals in 2017. He needs to step up again and shut down Adam Thielen this week if the Bengals want to have any chance of pulling off an upset in Minnesota. Thielen enters Week 15 tied for third in the league with 1,161 yards.

GAME PREVIEW AND ANALYSIS

Case Keenum looks to bounce back from his shaky Week 14 performance, while the entire defense looks to recover from their worst game of the season. The Bengals are coming off a loss in which they were completely dominated by a measly Chicago Bears team. A win will clinch the NFC North for the Vikings and take some pressure off as they head into the final two games of the season, but they can’t overlook the Bengals. If the Vikings have a healthy offensive line, which seems likely this weekend, they can bury the Bengals early. Look for Zimmer and company to unleash on the Cincinnati and lock up a playoff spot.

I am a college student, born and raised in central Indiana. Somehow, I grew up a diehard fan of the Vikings, Cubs, and Pacers. My entire life, I had never witnessed a championship for one of my teams, so when the Cubs pulled it off last season, I didn’t know what to do or say. My Twitter (@lparrish22) is filled with upset and disappointed tweets, including having to watch John Lackey every five days and the infamous Blair Walsh miss. No matter how hard it is to watch my teams choke every year, I always hold out hope. “Next year” is the most common saying in my household.
