Highlighting Warrior Wednesday 6 is a fight for the WXC Bantamweight championship in the main event.

7-1 Pipe Vargas will meet 9-5 Jose Johnson in a five-round contest at five minutes per round.

Contender Comparison:

Pipe Vargas enters the fight at 5-foot-7, with no such information accessible for his opponent Jose Johnson on Tapology heading into the title fight.

Vargas enters this title fight having posted a 4-1 record in his last five fights and most recently scored a third-round knockout via a flying knee vs. Saidyokub Kakharamonov in the co-main event of Warrior Wednesday 1 in February on UFC Fight Pass.

In the other corner, Jose Johnson has likewise posted a 4-1 record in his last five fights and is currently on a three-fight winning streak.

Last time out, he scored a first-round knockout vs. Ryan McIntosh due to strikes in Warrior Wednesday 4 on July 3 on Fight Pass.

Ordinarily, we’d mention who has the reach advantage as per the tale of the tape on Tapology, but no such information is available on Tapology for this contest.

Prediction: Pipe Vargas by first-round knockout.

Other professional fights on Wednesday’s main card:

Jesse Bazzi (10-6) vs. Josh Smith (8-5) [Flyweight, co-main event]

Taylor Moore (9-4) vs. Josh Robinson (12-12) [Bantamweight]

Joshua Shaw (4-2) vs. Mickey Marsack (5-4) [Lightweight]

Daniel Anglemyer (1-1) vs. Eric Shellenbarger (3-3) [Lightweight]
