The last mixed martial arts event of the month of July takes place on the last night of July.

Michigan-based Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting returns to UFC Fight Pass this Wednesday night for WXC- Warrior Wednesday 5 (a.k.a., WXC 80.)

In total, eight MMA fights will be contested this Wednesday night. Not all fights on the card will be on the broadcast.

Highlighting this Wednesday night’s show is a main event for the WXC Flyweight championship. In the title fight, 2-0 Juancamilo Ronderos will fight 4-0 Matthew Elliot.

Contender Comparison:

Matthew Elliot enters this Flyweight title fight as the taller contestant. He stands 5-foot-4, two inches taller than Juancamilo Ronderos at 5-foot-2.

Dating back to his amateur career, Juancamilo Ronderos has posted a perfect 5-0 in his last five MMA appearances and is currently on an 11-fight winning streak.

Most recently, he scored a second-round submission due to a rear-naked choke against Eric Ramirez on May 29 during Warrior Wednesday 3 on UFC Fight Pass.

In the other corner, Matthew Elliot has gone 4-1 in his last five mixed martial arts fights dating back to his amateur MMA career.

Most recently, he won via first-round submission due to a heel hook vs. Jesse Bazzi last August in PFO: Glory, with just one second remaining on the clock.

This Wednesday’s main event will mark Elliot’s first career appearance in Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting.

Ordinarily at this point in the article, we’d mention who has the reach advantage as per the tale of the tape on Tapology.

No such information was accessible for this fight, however.

Prediction: Juancamilo Ronderos by first-round TKO.

Other fights on Warrior Wednesday 5 include:
