A word about the recent Island Fights 53 card before we talk about this weekend’s UFC Fight Night: Caio Magalhaes and Kory Mogenberg withdrew from their respective fights prior to Wednesday’s show.

Magalhaes is rebooked to Island Fights 54 later on in the month, as was reported on the broadcast Wednesday prior to the co-main event.

The fourth UFC Fight Night on ESPN+ takes place this Saturday night. This time around, the famed Octagon goes to Wichita, KS and the Intrust Bank Arena. If you are looking to win some money on the fight, head over here.

Undercard action begins at 5 p.m. EST, 2 p.m. PST, with the main card following at 8 p.m. EST, 5 p.m. PST in both English and Spanish on ESPN+.

Highlighting UFC Fight Night this week is a Heavyweight battle featuring two top 10 contenders. No. 3 contender Derrick Lewis (21-6, one no-contest) will meet No. 8 contender Junior dos Santos in a five-round main event.

Contender Comparison: dos Santos is the taller combatant in this fight, standing 6-foot-4 with Lewis standing 6-foot-3.

Lewis has posted a 3-2 record in his last five UFC appearances, losing last time out by second-round submission against Daniel Cormier in UFC 230’s main event on Nov. 3, a Heavyweight title match.

In the other corner, dos Santos has also gone 3-2 in his last five fights, winning last time out by second-round knockout vs. Tai Tuivasa on Dec. 1 in the last UFC Fight Night on FS1 in Adelaide.

The Tale of the Tape: Lewis holds the advantage in both reach (79 inches to 77 inches) and leg reach (43.5 inches to 41 inches over dos Santos) heading into the main event.

Prediction: dos Santos by first-round knockout.
