Saturday is a packed day of combat sports. Between UFC, Bellator MMA, and GLORY Kickboxing, you’ve got three live shows to look forward to.

It all begins very early this Saturday morning with UFC on ESPN+ 20 from Kallang, Singapore’s Singapore Indoor Stadium. Due to the time difference between Singapore and the United States East Coast, if you want to watch UFC on ESPN+ 20 live in full, you’re going to need to set your alarm.

The undercard begins Saturday at 5 a.m. EDT, 2 a.m. PDT on ESPN+, with main card action at 8 a.m. EDT, 5 a.m. PDT on the streaming platform. In all, 11 mixed martial arts fights are planned for Saturday morning.

The morning’s main event will be a five-round showdown in the UFC’s Welterweight ranks as No. 10 contender Demian Maia (26-9) takes on No. 11 contender Ben Askren (19-1). This is Ben Askren’s third UFC appearance.

Contender Comparison

Heading into Saturday morning’s main event, Demian Maia is the taller contestant, standing 6-foot-1, two inches taller than Ben Askren’s 5-foot-11 frame.

Maia has posted a 2-3 record in his last five fights and enters this contest on a two-fight winning streak. Most recently, he scored a unanimous decision victory against Rocco Martin in UFC on ESPN 3 on June 29 in Minneapolis.

In the other corner, Ben Askren has gone 4-1 in his last five fights, sustaining his first career defeat last time out against Jorge Masvidal via first-round knockout (flying knee) in UFC 239 on July 6. The time of the knockout was five seconds into the fight, setting a record for the quickest knockout in UFC promotional history.

The Tale of the Tape

UFC.com shows that Maia and Askren are level in reach (72 inches apiece), with Maia holding a 4.5-inch leg reach advantage (42.5 inches to 38 inches) heading into this fight.

Prediction: Ben Askren by first-round knockout.
