The Titans have added quarterback and former 1st round draft pick Brandon Weeden to their roster. The move comes after it was announced that Marcus Mariota is day to day with a hamstring injury.
Weeden, 33, will be joining his 4th team after stints with the Browns, Cowboys, and Texans. Throughout his career, Weeden has thrown for over 6,000 yards with a completion percentage of 57.9 and has thrown 31 touchdowns to 30 interceptions. Weeden has been more of a career backup than a starter and that is most likely what he will be in Nashville (behind Matt Cassel) depending on the degree of Marcus Mariota’s injury. Weeden worked out with and was signed over other quarterbacks T.J. Yates, Matt McGloin, and Matt Barkley.
The Titans travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins on Sunday.
