On Thursday, the NFL announced the 2018 schedule for all 32 teams and we now know what the Tennessee Titans schedule looks like.

Mike Vrabel’s team begins the season in Miami against the Dolphins followed by the home opener in Nashville against the Houston Texans. The defending Super Bowl champion, Philadelphia Eagles visit in Week 4.

The Titans get to swim across the pond to London to play the Chargers in Week 7 with the bye week right behind it.

Everything is bigger in Texas, right? Featured in three primetime games in 2018, the first is in Week 9 against the Cowboys in Dallas for Monday Night Football with another Monday nighter in Week 12 against the Texans. The Titans play the defending division champions in Week 14 on Thursday Night Football.

First reaction is that this is a favorable schedule to the Titans. Ending the season with four out of five home games is a plus. No long stretches on the road, a bye week in the middle of the season and a couple of notable primetime games.

What are your thoughts on the schedule? Too soon for predictions?

I am a recent graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Journalism. I’ve been a Titans fan my entire life, even through the Jake Locker years. When Chris Johnson was released, I shed a tear. I still wear my Steve McNair Oilers jersey to games and believe Jeff Fisher is a legend. I hope you enjoy my writing half as much a I enjoyed watching Marcus throw 4 touchdowns against the Packers.
