We’ve been talking about it for months, basically ever since the clock turned zero when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. The 2018 NFL Draft is FINALLY here. This years draft has an influx of players at all positions and pretty much nobody knows who will go where (Cleveland, please don’t mess it up). However, what we do know, are the holes that the Titans need to fill early on in the draft. Here are the names to look for when it comes time for the Titans to pick at #25 (pending a trade) in the first round.

Josh Sweat

  • Defensive end, Florida State
  • 6’5, 250 lbs.
  • 138 career tackles
  • 17.5 career sacks
  • 4.53 40-yard dash at the combine

Sam Hubbard

  • Defensive end, Ohio State
  • 6’5, 265 lbs.
  • 116 career tackles
  • 17 career sacks
  • Did not participate in 40-yard dash

Leighton Vander Esch

  • Linebacker, Boise State
  • 6’4, 256 lbs.
  • 188 career tackles
  • 5 career sacks, 3 career interceptions
  • 4.65 40-yard dash

Rashaan Evans

  • Linebacker, Alabama
  • 6’3, 234 lbs.
  • 150 career tackles
  • 15 career sacks
  • Did not participate in 40-yard dash

The Titans have holes on the defensive line and at the linebacker positions. These are the types of players that would be beneficial for the Titans to draft to fill those holes and to create depth on the defensive side of the ball.
