Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid have been making a great case for an All-Star berth on the court this season.

The Sixers haven’t had an All-Star since Jrue Holiday during the 2012-2013 season.

Simmons and Embiid have had tremendous amount of support from fans, celebrities and athletes on social media.

According to fan voting results, Simmons is third among back court players in the Eastern Conference trailing Kyrie Irving and DeMar DeRozan.

Meanwhile, Embiid is third among front court players behind LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

You can certainly make the case for both players to be in Los Angeles for the game in February.

Simmons is averaging 16.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game all while shooting 51.3 percent from the field.

Only James and James Harden are putting up similar numbers.

Embiid is averaging a double-double with 23.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He’s done all that while 48.4 percent from the field.
