There has been recent rumors regarding the Orlando Magic getting new jerseys. These new jerseys, dubbed the “Juice Jerseys”, are the famous blue pinstripes, but in the color orange instead.

While there has been no official word on this from the Magic’s social media accounts or even from the NBA themselves, most of the discussion on this topic can be found on Reddit, with some discussion reaching Twitter.

Some fans have noted that if the Magic were to go with the Juice Jerseys, this could be used to replace the City Jerseys that the team had last season.

In addition, there has been no mention on whether or not the Magic will be replacing or updating any of its other jerseys.

Personally, I like the concept of the Magic having the Juice Jerseys. The idea of a team willing to experiment with the colors on their jerseys is something that I appreciate, such as the Miami Heat’s Vice Jerseys.

I would like to add though that if the Magic do decide to go forward with the Juice Jerseys, if the team were to replace the “A” in Orlando with an orange fruit, it may be perceived as being tacky or even cliché.

Also, while many in the fan base would welcome the idea of a new team jersey, some would feel that it would make sense for the Magic to not stray too far away from what makes the Magic’s jerseys unique to their specific team. In other words, as long as the Juice Jerseys don’t look out of place, it should be welcomed by many in the fan base as well as throughout the league.

My name is Jonathan David and I am from a small town called Green Cove Springs, located in northeast Florida. Originally from Miami, Florida, my family moved up north, as I was entering the fourth grade. Once we moved, I eventually started getting into sports a lot more. I did soccer, basketball and running and pole-vaulting; however, the main sport that I pretty much keep up with is, basketball, specifically the NBA. Although I’ll occasionally watch track and field if it’s on ESPN. There were many reasons why I got into basketball, besides it looking like fun, one reason was because I wanted to be like Bugs Bunny from Space Jam, not Michael Jordan, but Bugs Bunny, and while my dream of being an animated character hasn’t panned out, I still enjoy playing and watching the sport. My favorite NBA team is the Orlando Magic, and I’ve been a fan since Lebron was in Miami, so when they eventually get good, people can’t say I’m a bandwagon fan.
