Caris LeVert so far this season has shown a lot of improvement in his game. Yes, it has only been a few games but do not be surprised if LeVert is a candidate for the most improved player award.

LeVert was raised in Ohio and attended Pickerington High School near Columbus, Ohio. While playing for Pickerington, LeVert led them to a state championship. After high school, LeVert committed to playing at the University of Michigan.

LeVert would stay there all four years. While at Michigan, LeVert would be named to second-team All-Big Ten and would help the team reach the national championship in 2013.

NBA Start

LeVert would declare for the NBA draft in 2016. He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with pick No. 20 and then was traded to the Brooklyn Nets. Every year since the draft, LeVert made a steady improvement in his game. The 2018-19 season has been his best so far. Currently, in his first three games, LeVert is averaging 28.3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists. His shooting percentage is the best in his career shooting 65 percent from the field and 40 percent from three.

Many have seen LeVert as the secret gem for the Nets and wonder when he will break out and this season will be that season.
