Zeke Correll commits to Notre Dame
Ohio State missed out on one of the highest ranked players in the state of Ohio for the class of 2019. Zeke Correll is the No. 5 ranked player in the state of Ohio and is ranked 9th at his position. Correll goes to Anderson High School in Cincinnati. Despite going to high school in Cincinnati, Correll’s family has more of a connection to the state of Kentucky than Ohio. Therefore, Ohio State wasn’t ever a sure thing. Correll was supposed to visit Ohio State on June 22, but opted to commit prior to this visit.
Correll had 27 offers from schools all around the country. Before he made his commitment, he had narrowed his list of potential destinations down to just four. It came down to Ohio State, Clemson, Stanford and Notre Dame before he ultimately chose the Fighting Irish.
