The class of 2020 features a number of highly rated prospects already. Let’s look at who all is committed to this point:

Luke Wypler-OG

Wypler is one of three highly rated offensive lineman already committed. He is a 4-star guard and is the number one overall ranked guard in his class. Wypler is not only really athletic, but he is a smart lineman. This makes him an option to be a center in college or he may stay at one of the guard spots.

Paris Johnson Jr.-OT

Johnson Jr. is a 5-star offensive tackle and is another big addition on the offensive line for the Buckeyes. He decided to stay close to home coming from St. Xavier in Cincinnati. He is ranked as the seventh best player in the class. One thing that stands out when watching him on film is his aggressiveness. Johnson Jr. is constantly driving back the opposing defensive player and a lot of times ends up pushing them to the ground.

Jake Wray-OT

Wray is another top offensive tackle in the class. He is the biggest of the three lineman in the class at 290 pounds. Wray’s strength is something that stands out to me when watching him on film. He brings more aggression to this class of offensive lineman. With three lineman already committed, Ohio State could have one of, if not the best, lineman groups in all of the 2020 classes in college football.

Jack Miller-QB

Miller is a 6-4 and 210-pound pro-style quarterback. He is a pass first guy who has a good arm. He has a pretty strong arm and is accurate with the deep ball. This is one aspect that made Cardale Jones so successful in Ohio State’s championship season. He will be a guy to watch for as he develops because his high IQ as a quarterback is something that will help him dominate in his next few years of high school.

Lejond Cavazos-S

Cavazos is a 3-star safety who recently committed to Ohio State. His speed and athleticism are attributes that made him an attractive option for the Buckeyes. The cons of his game are that he is not very fundamentally sound, but that can be changed whens he plays in Columbus.

Darvon Hubbard-RB

Hubbard is a running back and will try to follow up on what are expected to be good careers for J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber. He fits in well at Ohio State as he is a physical and tough running back. He isn’t the fastest back in the world, but will get big gains using his fundamentals and strength.

Recruit to Watch

Zach Harrison- Harrison is a 5-star defensive end from Olentangy Orange High School which is in Ohio State’s backyard. Harrison is a part of the class of 2019 and will be a nice addition. He is the fourth ranked player in his class. His greatest attribute is his work ethic to go along with his size and speed. Harrison will be a force for whoever he plays for in college. It looks like he will choose the Buckeyes who have a 94 percent chance of getting his commitment according to 247 Sports, but we will just have to wait and see.
