“It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine” Hutchinson expressed on his tweet, a resounded phrase said throughout the history of Michigan athletics.
Hutchinson showed interest in Notre Dame, having visited there, and had other notable offers from Wisconsin, Michigan State and LSU. Michigan would eventually edge all other opponents in where the young star would land. Hutchinson was quoted as saying the visit to Notre Dame went “great” however, nobody has it better than Michigan.
According to ESPN.com, Aidan Hutchinson is the #1 defensive end in Michigan and the 11th ranked defensive end nationally. Michigan picked up right where they left off in this year’s recruiting; dominating in-state recruits. After snagging the top five 2017 recruits, Michigan was quick to pick up another dominate Michigan athlete.
With this addition to the 2018 Wolverines team, Michigan now had three commits in their 2018 class. Considering how early it is, Michigan fans should be content with three athletes choosing Michigan.
