Since Markelle Fultz has joined the Orlando Magic, the team has been on a five-game winning streak.
The Magic’s winning streak began on Feb. 7, which was when the team traded former player Jonathon Simmons and a couple of future draft picks to Philadelphia for Fultz; in addition, it was also when the Magic played the Minnesota Timberwolves and won, 122-112.
The Magic’s next few games would then follow a similar format, in which the final box score will have the team winning by 10 or more points.
Just recently on Thursday, the Magic hosted the Charlotte Hornets, a team that has beaten the Magic for 13-consecutive games in a row, lost by a huge margin, at the Amway Center.
Many in the fan base were a bit anxious about Thursday’s game against the Hornets due to how they have beaten the Magic 13-games in a row, not to mention that the team could easily drop its losing streak.
However, once the game started, and as it progressed, it was clear that this Magic team wasn’t going to cave in and let the opposing team take away their winning streak. As a result, the team won by almost 30 points, the most in these past five games.
Leaders of the game for the Magic are: Terrence Ross scoring 21 points to lead the team, D.J. Augustin who had seven assists and Aaron Gordon, who had 11 rebounds.
Other notes include sophomore Jonathan Isaac continuing his double digit scoring consistency.
In addition, the team recently held a press conference introducing Fultz, his family and his agent to the Orlando Magic organization.
With the NBA All-Star being this weekend, catch Nikola Vucevic represent the Magic during the Taco Bell Skills Challenge as a participant and during the All-Star game as a reserve.
