ESPN’s The Last Dance gave a never before seen look into the illustrious career of Michael Jordan told through the eyes of MJ himself, along with input from a select few members of the Chicago Bulls’ organization. While the ESPN Doc gave us ten episodes of must watch content, it didn’t give all of Jordan’s teammates a chance to offer their side of the story.

BetOnline’s The Final Dance web series gives teammates who were not afforded the luxury of sharing a story, or defending their name an opportunity to do just that.

On a recent episode an intriguing topic was brought to the forefront. If Jordan had a birthday party, what Bulls would show?

This question is a fun one to play with after watching videos of Jordan crapping all over his teammates for the past five weeks of television.

Horace Grant told BetOnline that his invitation would go directly into the trashcan if he were to receive one. A wise choice for Horace as Michael would ban him from the catering area.

Not Scottie Pippen

It may seem like a lock that Scottie would be in attendance, but he will find a reason not to show up. Migraine. Pulled back muscle. Tony Kukoc got his invite first. He’ll find a way. Michael better prepare to awkwardly defend another Pippen no show.

Phil Jackson

Phil Jackson’s showing up to the party without question, his and Michael’s relationship appears genuine. The only question would be, is the Zen Master bringing the psychedelics to liven up the party.

John Paxson and Steve Kerr

Pax and Steve wouldn’t miss this birthday party for the world. It’s simple, the little white guys always show up for Mike when he needs them the most.

Dennis Rodman but not Intentionally

Dennis Rodman isn’t missing a party. The worm for sure shows up to Michael’s birthday party fashionably late with Las Vegas hookers on each arm. The twist? Dennis has no idea this party is for Michael Jordan, he just heard there was a party and showed up.

Scott Burrell

Scott Burrell seems like the type of guy that thinks Michael loved him to death. He shows up to the party thinking he’ll get a warm welcoming response from Jordan, only for Mike to ask the other party goers “Who the hell invited Burrell?”. If Scott thinks Jordan forgot about his 0’s across the stat sheet and -17 performance in a closeout game, then he has another thing coming.

Luke Longley

Longley is getting an invite and showing up to the party just off the simple fact that it seems Michael liked Longley in all the highlights shown during The Last Dance. Being a white guy and not catching any shit from Jordan throughout the whole documentary, you must’ve been one hell of a teammate.

Through missing invitations that Michael never sent, there won’t be many Bull’s at Jordan’s next birthday party. One can only hope that Malik Monk and Terry Rozier are invited to fill the void.
