Great news for fans of the Orlando Magic! Recently, there have been talks that big man, Jonathan Isaac, has gained some weight and muscle. There has been other news as well.

Isaac Bulking Up

More specifically, Isaac has gained exactly 15 pounds since his time as a second-year player. It’s evident if you compare how Isaac looked the year before to how he looks currently. You will notice how his arms look more defined.

There have been some reports that can be found on Twitter stating how Isaac is now weighing at 234 pounds. That is a significant increase from when he weighed just 209 pounds last season.

I remember awhile back when the Magic drafted him. Many people, including myself, were unsure if he was going to be able to adjust to the NBA due to his smaller build. Fortunately, all of our concerns have been put to rest.

Isaac Getting Invited to Train with Team USA

Alongside teammate Aaron Gordon, Isaac will be heading to training camp for Team USA out in Las Vegas. Reports have mentioned that the two players, while not on the official Team USA roster, will be there to help serve as players the official team will scrimmage against.

While this may be disappointing to hear, it is kind of expected. However, there is one silver lining to all this and that is the fact that Isaac getting this type of exposure will allow him to become a better player for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. Not to mention the fact that Isaac would be getting some attention from the media.

My name is Jonathan David and I am from a small town called Green Cove Springs, located in northeast Florida. Originally from Miami, Florida, my family moved up north, as I was entering the fourth grade. Once we moved, I eventually started getting into sports a lot more. I did soccer, basketball and running and pole-vaulting; however, the main sport that I pretty much keep up with is, basketball, specifically the NBA. Although I’ll occasionally watch track and field if it’s on ESPN. There were many reasons why I got into basketball, besides it looking like fun, one reason was because I wanted to be like Bugs Bunny from Space Jam, not Michael Jordan, but Bugs Bunny, and while my dream of being an animated character hasn’t panned out, I still enjoy playing and watching the sport. My favorite NBA team is the Orlando Magic, and I’ve been a fan since Lebron was in Miami, so when they eventually get good, people can’t say I’m a bandwagon fan.
