On this week’s episode of the Hawkeye Tailgate Report I take a look back at the Hawkeye’s piss-pounding of Nebraska. Also, part one of the interview with former Iowa basketball manager, Brandon Morris. Plus, a look ahead at some sports schedules for Iowa Athletics!

My name is Luke Maiers and I am an Iowa Hawkeye fan through to my God damn bones. I graduated from college in May of 2017, and hold degrees in Radio/TV Production and Journalism. I am corn fed and Hawkeye bred, and I would classify myself as an unrealistically optimistic Iowa fan. I am the type of guy that will scream at his team, cry over his team and make myself look like a fool when they win the big game. No matter what, though, I will never be pissed at them for more than 60 seconds. I have two phrases that play a big part in my life. The first is something Ricky Stanzi once said, “If you don’t love it, leave it. USA #1.” The second is, “Shooters shoot.” That motto has singlehandedly changed my life.
