On Friday, the calendar turns to November. As the calendar turns and the weather outside cools, make no mistake: Ladies and gentlemen, the action in the sport of mixed martial arts is just heating up.

The packed MMA weekend continues Friday night with women’s MMA promotion INVICTA Fighting Championships and INVICTA FC 38 from Kansas City, KS’s Memorial Hall. As always, UFC Fight Pass will stream wall-to-wall coverage of this week’s INVICTA FC event on Friday at 8 p.m. EDT, 7 p.m. CDT, 5 p.m. PDT.

In total, INVICTA FC 38 features seven MMA contests, highlighted by a contest for the INVICTA FC Strawweight Championship between Kanako Murata (10-1) and Emily Ducote (8-5).

Initially, there was to have been an INVICTA FC Flyweight title fight between Vanessa Porto (21-8) and Karina Rodriguez (8-3).

While those two will still meet, it’s now a three-round catchweight. Rodriguez missed the flyweight maximum of 125 lbs. at Thursday’s weigh-in.

Porto made weight for the fight.
