Ohio State added another Georgia native to their 2019 class. Harry Miller, a center from Buford, Ga. recently committed to play college football in Columbus. Running back Steele Chambers from Roswell, Ga. committed in mid-April. Miller is the No. 2 ranked center in his class and one of Ohio State’s main targets at the position. Center is a position that is in question for this upcoming season with the loss of Billy Price. If the Buckeyes don’t get a lot of production out of the position next year, Miller may be a guy they look to early in his first season in 2019-2020.

Attributes

Miller is 6-4 and 310 pounds. He is big and powerful and it shows in his highlights. Furthermore, Mille also has the versatility to play other positions on the line. Besides center, Miller has gotten some time at guard. The most intriguing thing about him isn’t a physical attribute or his versatility, however it is how smart he is. Miller has been a straight A student all throughout high school while working to become a Division 1 football player. He also scored a whopping 34 on his ACT.

Visit and commitment

Miller made an unofficial visit to Ohio State last week and committed just a few days later on June 10. He had other offers from Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Stanford, and many more.

Meyer passes Harbaugh in recruiting rankings (2019)

Harry Miller was a big landing for the Buckeyes in more ways than one. Not only does he fill a position of need for Ohio State, but he also helped the Buckeyes overtake Michigan in the Big 10 recruiting rankings. With the signing of Miller, there are now eight 4-stars committed to Ohio State in the 2019 class.

Ohio State has now moved up to the No. 6 spot in the nation for their 2019 recruiting class while Michigan is at 14. There is a lot of recruiting left to do for these respective coaches, but the move up for Ohio State is a sign of good things to come for this class.
