It may have slipped many fans minds, but Jaylen Brown was not the only player drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 Draft. The Celtics also drafted 6-foot-8 Power Forward Guerschon Yabusele from France. Yabusele was seen as one of the top international prospects in the draft and was selected by the Celtics with the No. 16 pick pick in the 2016 draft.

The 21-year old from Dreux, France was recently sent to the Celtics D-League team, the Maine Red Claws. So far in just two games with the Red Claws, Yabusele is averaging 18.5 points per game and 10 rebounds. Yabusele has shined in these games showing how dominant of a player he can be. Recently, He is shooting an 65 percent from the floor and showing why the Celtics drafted him No. 16 overall in last year’s draft.

Celtics fans may have something to look forward to with Yabusele making an appearance with the Celtics next season. He shows some very physical play with some great finishes and rebounds. He looks like he will fit the Celtics style come next year.
