As of late, the Los Angeles Lakers have been involved in many trade and free agent signing rumors. The trade rumors include the Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans and Orlando Magic.

Rumor No. 1

First, according to Kevin Broom, the Lakers offered Lonzo Ball in a trade package for John Wall. The details of the trade are shaky but the trade most likely would include Ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and another young player on the Lakers. If this deal were to be accepted it wouldn’t be able to happen before Dec. 15. Players who were signed this past offseason can’t be traded before then.

Rumor No. 2

The next rumor is a blockbuster three-team deal. The deal would involve the Lakers, Pelicans and Magic. The blockbuster deal swirling around was released by Brandon Robinson. The deal would send Anthony Davis and a Pelicans guard to the Lakers. Caldwell-Pope and a Lakers big man would be sent to the Magic. The Pelicans would receive Brandon Ingram, Ball, Nikola Vucevic and draft picks. In this deal, the Pelicans are getting a very nice return for Davis. The Magic would do this deal because of Mo Bamba‘s development. Vucevic most likely will leave the Magic after this season so getting rid of him early will let Bamba get more minutes.

A Signing

Lastly, a report released by The Athletic revealed that the Lakers may be interested in signing Carmelo Anthony. Anthony is a good friend of LeBron James’s so he would most likely love to have him on the team. Of course, this is a new story so it will be interesting to see if anything happens.

All in all, the Lakers are playing very well as of late. We will have to wait to see what moves will be made. None of these moves will be made for at least another week.
