It’s no secret that the Philadelphia 76ers have been very inconsistent this season.

At times, it has shown their star potential, (Remember the first half of the Golden State Warriors game in Philadelphia back in Nov.) but have looked lost just a few minutes later (The second half of the same game.)

Markelle Fultz has missed 32 games, while Joel Embiid has battled various injuries the past month.

But one player has been playing well for the entire season and needs to get his credit where it is due.

Dario, you are the man

Dario Saric is not the best player on the Sixers, but he plays hard every day.

Just take the last game against the Phoenix Suns as a prime example.

Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Robert Covington were all in foul trouble early in the second half. They needed someone to step up and Saric was there to deliver.

He scored 27 points and made four of five 3 -pointers to help the Sixers edge the Suns.

The Suns were down 18 points in the third quarter but came back and took the lead for a brief time.

Saric, along with Embiid and Simmons, finally closed out a game. Maybe the new year has created new men in Philly.

Saric is averaging 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists all while shooting 44 percent overall and 37 percent from three. He has been as consistent as this team has needed to become even better.

Saric has gotten lost in all the hype of Simmons and Embiid but he is found his role and is thriving. It is time to recognize just how good
