After a sack party against the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys are headed to Seattle looking to start a win streak. How do the Boys match up?

The Seahawks have not exactly started 2018 in the best of ways, sitting at 0-2 with losses to the Broncos and the Bears. They head home for the first time this season to take on the Dallas Cowboys and the key to a win will be quarterback Russell Wilson. As the Cowboys defense just had quite a fun time against Eli Manning of the New York Giants, Wilson would much rather not be on the receiving end of such a beating.
He will need to have a big game against the Cowboys for the Seahawks to get their first win on the season. He will need to spread the ball out and extend plays with his legs- something he has seemingly forgotten he has the ability to do.
On the flip side of the same coin, this is Dak Prescott’s time to shine. He hasn’t exactly been that great so far this season. While he has been decent and done enough for a 1-1 record, he hasn’t been who the Cowboys expect him to be.
While the defense will likely continue the tear they were on a week ago, it will be important for Dak to sustain long drives and give that defense a moment or two to breathe. Playing against Russell Wilson and his offense, no matter how much they are struggling, is a tiring feat for anyone. The Dallas Cowboys offense is in charge of not only allowing the defense to rest, but in establishing drives that will keep the Cowboys in the driver’s seat of this one.
GAME PREVIEW & ANALYSIS
Seattle is struggling and that is putting it mildly. The injury bug and the drama bug have hit hard and as a result, this team is trying to figure out how to get back to their winning ways. This game, for the Seahawks, will be about getting healthy and showing that their season is far from over. Many have already disregarded their playoff chances, but head coach Pete Carroll is not letting this season go after two weeks. Look for this home opener to feature every possible player giving everything they have in this one.
On the other side of the field, you have the Dallas Cowboys, playing in their second road game of the season. After falling to Carolina in Week 1, they bounced back against a Giants team that is not exactly at the top of the NFL food chain. Now, the Cowboys will face off against another mobile quarterback in Russell Wilson. It didn’t work out so well for them against Cam Newton, but Sunday afternoon is a different day and a different game. It will take everyone, on both sides of the ball, to pull off the win against the Seahawks. Struggling or not, this is a talented team with a talented quarterback.
The odds on ESPN sit at about 50/50 for this one. All in all, it will come down to which quarterback can sustain drives and which defense can cause chaos for the opposing matchup. It will be an exciting one in Seattle, that is for sure.
