Dak Prescott

We have seen two sides of Dak Prescott this season: the one we saw in 2016 and the exact opposite. An almost Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde like persona in certain games from Dak. For the Cowboys to win this one, Prescott will have to play to the best of his ability. He can’t cruise through this game with 10-yard dump passes and handing the ball of when Zeke has no where to run. He needs to find his groove in this new offense, one that doesn’t include Dez Bryant or Jason Witten.

This is Prescott’s game. He has to be the leader this team needs, the leader that he has yet to be so far this year.

The Lions’ Defense

On the flip side, the key to this game for the Lions will be to shut down the Cowboys offense, especially this one guy named Zeke Elliot. You may have heard of him once or twice on Sunday afternoons. This unit was able to cause enough trouble to knock out the Patriots who also sit at 1-2 on the season. They will need a repeat performance of that against the ‘Boys live from AT&T Stadium.

Can they pull it off? Who knows, we will have to wait and see.

GAME PREVIEW & ANALYSIS

Both of these teams are 1-2 on the season so far. However, the Lions beat Tom Brady and the Patriots. The Cowboys beat Eli Manning and the Giants. One of these wins is not like the other, that is for sure. However, the ‘Boys are favored in this one, somehow someway. This is a must win game for the Cowboys and that is putting it mildly.

Yes, the Lions just knocked out Brady. However, they are still the Lions and Matthew Stafford is still the quarterback. Stafford has been good at times and at others he has been really, really bad. That is the same boat that Dak Prescott has been in so far this season though and is not exactly something that the Cowboys faithful are happy about.

To win this game, each team needs to play to best level that they are capable of. Which Dak Prescott will show up? Which Stafford? Does the Cowboys defense that beat up Eli Manning show up or will it be the one who was gashed by Cam Newton in Week 1 and Russell Wilson in Week 3? All these questions and more will be answered on Sunday afternoon live from AT&T Stadium, so stay tuned.
