As the Oklahoma State Cowboys get ready for their bowl game at the end of December, it is time to look back at their top 3 individual performances of the year.
3. Justice Hill vs. Texas Tech
Justice Hill has had one of his better years this season, putting up over 1300 yards and about 6 yards per carry.
The away game versus Tech molded together his most impressive visual and statistical performance of the season. Hill ran for his most total yards in a victory (he had 228 against Oklahoma at home) with 164. Hill went for one reception TD as well.
2. Cowboy Receiving Corps vs. Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh game at the beginning of the Cowboy season was simply one of the Pokes’ best offensive explosions of the year.
In this 59-21 away victory 4 of the Cowboys’ elite receivers gathered 100+ receiving yards each. These receivers included Jalen McCleskey, James Washington, Marcell Ateman, and Dillon Stoner, who had 164, 124, 109, and 100 yards, respectively.
1. Mason Rudolph vs. Pitt
It is only right to go with the Cowboys’ senior quarterback for number 1. It is also only right to stay in the same game. The game that Mason Rudolph broke records in.
Rudolph went 23/32, went for 497 total yards and threw 5 touchdowns and just one pick. He was on so much fire that you could see him flash a brief smile as he threw his one pick at the end of the half.
Mason Rudolph also broke his very own passing record of 372 yards with 423 thrown in just the first half. It was quite the outing to say the least for Mason Rudolph.
