Player: #13 ArDarius Stewart (Junior)

Position: Wide Receiver

Height/Weight: 6’1′ / 204 lbs.

Coming in at No. 14 on our list is junior wide receiver ArDarius Stewart.

The Crimson Tide has such deep talent at the receiver position, but Stewart can easily be overlooked. Calvin Ridley and OJ Howard deservingly receive most of the attention, but with Robert Foster returning from injury and Bowling Green transfer Gehrig Deiter now getting in the mix, Stewart is perhaps the least talked about pass catcher on this Alabama team.

But like most Nick Saban coached players, Stewart lets his play speak for himself.

Stewart is coming off a sophomore campaign where he caught 63 passes, racked up 700 yards and pulled down four touchdowns.

The Fultondale, Alabama native is not the number one receiver on this Tide offense, but his athleticism may be unmatched. The lanky receiver proved last season he can make the difficult catches in traffic and even prevented a few incompletions thanks to his natural ball skills.

Stewart came up when it mattered most last season for the Tide and assumed the role as the go to receiver on third down while typically making key catches. But none was more important than his clutch catch against Clemson in the College Football Playoff Final on third down, which led to a game tying field goal that ultimately spawned Nick Saban’s idea for an onside kick moments later.

Since the Tide has one of the most talented groups of receivers, Stewart will fight for every bit of playing time. But expect the rising junior to play a big role on this Crimson Tide offense, much like he did last season.
