The final week before the NCAA Tournament field is selected has turned to a final weekend.

Conference tournaments (or just final series for those who don’t have a tournament) are in full swing.

We updated our field of 64 teams, as of results from Thursday, May 24.

There has been little movement in the top eight seeds – Georgia moving to 8 with UNC falling to 9 – though that could change later. However, East Carolina dropped out of the host ranks, as Auburn’s early success in the SEC Tournament propelled them over the slumping Pirates.

However, there is still time for ECU to jump over a current host, and the same can be said for Connecticut and Duke or Louisville.

Purdue replaced Kentucky in the field, while Texas A&M solidified their spot in the field by streaking through the SEC Tournament semifinals with wins over Vanderbilt, Georgia and Auburn.

Other teams who have solidified their positions are LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Baylor.
