The Anaheim Ducks are heading to Calgary with a 2-0 series lead. The Flames still haven’t won in Anaheim in the last 25 meetings.

What the Flames need to do:

WIN MORE FACE-OFFS

The Flames are getting dominated in the face-off circle. Game 1; 37%, Game 2; 41%. They’ll need to be better in the face-off circle if they have any chance at coming back in this series. In Game 1 they had the lead but quickly gave it up. In Game 2 they were down 2-0 but came storming back to tie the game. Eventually an unfortunate bounce for the Flames on the Penalty Kill late in the game sealed their fate in Game 2. They have to get Johnny Gaudreau going, only tallying 1 point through the first two games. He will have to find the back of the net if Calgary wants their season to continue.

What the Ducks need to do:

The Ducks took care of business on home ice winning both games by a final score of 3-2. The Ducks will need to keep dominating the face-off circle and keep forcing Calgary to take penalties. The Flames have taken 11 penalties through two games. The Ducks have converted on three of those. The Ducks captain has been everything in this series. Ryan Getzlaf has tallied four points through the first two games.

Ryan Getzlaf and the Ducks look to extinguish the Flames in Calgary but look to see a different Flames team from Games 1 and 2. Can the Ducks end the series in Calgary or will the Flames force a longer series?
