The Chicago Bulls faced the Indiana Pacers, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics during the week of Dec. 2. Chicago lost both games to their Eastern Conference foes but they won a close game against Oklahoma City. Lauri Markkanen returned to Chicago’s lineup and made his presence known.

Chicago Loses to Indiana

Chicago was on the road against Indiana. They only lost by six points. Markkanen started at power forward. He ended the night with a double-double. He filled the stat sheet with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Chicago had six players with double figures in scoring but it wasn’t enough to surpass Indiana.

Wendell Carter Jr. tallied a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. He is showing Chicago fans that he is more than capable of being a go-to guy in the low post. Justin Holiday tallied 15 points and six rebounds.

Darren Collison led his team in scoring. He ended the game with 23 points and eight rebounds. Myles Turner had a big night with a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Chicago Out duels Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City fought tooth and nail against Chicago but Chicago prevailed. Markkanen performed a spin move on Paul George and hit the go-ahead bucket to win the game. He ended the night with 24 points and seven rebounds.

Zach LaVine led the team in scoring with 25 points and seven assists. Holiday added to the stat-sheet with 20 points and six rebounds.

Russell Westbrook had another triple-double. He ended the night with 24 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists. Steven Adams had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Boston Cruises Over Chicago

Boston completely decimated Chicago at the United Center. Chicago lost by a whopping 56 points. Boston started the game with a 17 to nothing run. That was the worst loss in franchise history for Chicago.

Shaquille Harrison led the team in scoring with 20 points. It was an abysmal night for Chicago. Daniel Theis was the leading scorer for Boston with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Bulls Crushed by Kings

Chicago looked to rebound against the Sacramento Kings in their next game. It didn’t go as planned with a 108-89 loss.

De’Aaron Fox had a great game with 25 points and six assists. Marvin Bagley III and Bogdan Bogdanovic both finished with 16 points each. LaVine finished with 19 points and Markkanen had 13 points in the loss.

They will look to get back on track on the road against the Orlando Magic on Dec. 13 at 9:30 p.m.
