It was unclear if a suspension would even happen for Zeke, but it now has. The Dallas Cowboys will be without him for the first six games of the regular season. Zeke was never charged for anything by police, but the league felt they had enough in order to take action. Zeke had reportedly met with commissioner Roger Goodell in July regarding his domestic violence case.

Sources all over had different ‘facts’ on the situation. Some saying there would be no suspension, while others thought there would be one. Jerry Jones and the Cowboys felt as good as ever. They thought there was no way Zeke would be punished. The NFL clearly had more on Zeke than the Cowboys thought. The Cowboys front office also called out the league for their inefficiency on the case.

More to come.
