Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons may be a rookie but he certainly isn’t going to be pushed around like one.

Simmons plays the game hard and its certainly understandable why veteran players are intimidated by his play.

In just the last two games, Simmons has gotten into scuffles towards the end of the game.

Boston game

In the London game against the Boston Celtics, Boston forward Marcus Morris got into Simmons’ face because of the physically of the game.

Perhaps the best part of it has been Simmons’ reaction. He knows he is becoming a target and he doesn’t care.

Like Joel Embiid‘s attempts to get the opponent to lose their cool, Simmons seems to feed off it.

Toronto game

In the very next game, he exchanged words with Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry.

They both were ejected from the game and it appears Simmons indicates to Lowry to meet him in the hallway.

Once again Lowry looks much angrier than Simmons, and he seems to enjoy these confrontations.

Simmons smartly pointed out that both Morris and Lowry were both from Philly.

It’s nice to see Simmons enjoying his rookie season, while also making sure opponents don’t push him around.

It should earn his respect around the league soon.
