This Friday, Bellator MMA returns for the first of two consecutive weekends of events, as 11-0 A.J. McKee faces 21-3-2 John Macapa in the headliner of Bellator 205 in a three-round Featherweight main event.

As usual, Paramount Network will provide the coverage of the main card action beginning at 9 p.m. EDT, 8 p.m. CDT, live from CenturyLink Arena in Boise, ID (by the way, if you like great movies, stay tuned after the main event, as Paramount Network is scheduled to air Creed) with the coverage being tape-delayed for the Mountain and Pacific time zones—but this time, there’s a new wrinkle.

For the first time ever, Friday night’s main card will be shown via live stream thanks to Bellator’s new deal with premium subscription service DAZN (pronounced as “Da Zone, Da Zone.”)

DAZN, which has already launched in other countries, began service to United States viewers on Sunday, Sept. 10 and will cost new subscribers a $9.99/month fee, with the first month free.

In addition, next Saturday’s Bellator 206 main card will be exclusive to that platform.

As always, the prelims will be live streamed on bellator.com/live and the Bellator app at 7 p.m. EDT, 4 p.m. PDT on Friday night.

Back to the main event:  McKee is undefeated in his last five Bellator appearances, with his most recent win coming in Bellator 197 by decision vs. Justin Lawrence on Apr. 13.

In the other corner, Macapa has posted a 2-3 mark in his last five Bellator appearances, with his most recent fight resulting in a loss by decision to Pat Curran in Bellator 184 last Oct. 6.

I like Macapa to score the upset here. Let’s go with Macapa by first-round knockout.

Other fights on Friday night’s main card:

Rafael Lovato Jr. (8-0) vs. John Salter (15-3) [Middleweight, co-main event]

Patricky Pitbull (19-8) vs. Roger Huerta (24-10-1) [Lightweight]

Denise Kielholtze (2-1) vs. Veta Arteaga (4-2) [Women’s Flyweight]

10 prelims will begin the night at 7 p.m. EDT.

Bellator 205 at a Glance:

Prelims: Friday, 7 p.m. EDT, 4 p.m. PDT, bellator.com/live and Bellator app

Main Card: Friday, 9 p.m. EDT, 8 p.m. CDT, Paramount Network (streamed live nationwide on DAZN) [card tape-delayed on Paramount Network for Mountain and Pacific time zones]
