The Bellator MMA weekend doubleheader continues on Saturday night with Bellator 203 in Rome, Italy (main card at 8 p.m. EST and PT on Paramount Network.)

As is the case with international Bellator cards, Saturday’s event will be tape-delayed for United States viewers.

Bellator 203 is highlighted by a featherweight title match between champion Patricio Pitbull (26-4-0, nine wins by knockout or technical knockout, 11 wins by submission) and Daniel “The Weasel” Weichel (39-9-0, five wins by knockout or technical knockout, 22 wins by submission).

Pitbull enters Saturday’s contest having gone 8-2 in his last 10 Bellator appearances, with his most recent win coming via a second round submission of Daniel Straus in April 2017’s Bellator 178.

In the other corner, Weichel has gone 8-1 in his last nine Bellator fights. Weichel’s last win occurred on April 14, 2017 in Bellator 177. Weichel defeated John Macapa by decision.

Given the fact that both fighters have a knack for scoring the stoppage victory in recent matches, I think that we could be looking at a quick headliner in Rome on Saturday.

Prediction: Let’s go with Pitbull by knockout.

Other fights on Saturday’s card include:

Alessio “Legionarius” Sakara (19-12-0) vs. Jamie Sloane (8-4-0) [Light Heavyweight]

Andrey “Spartan” Koreshov (20-2-0) vs. Vaso Bakocevic (33-17-2) [Welterweight]

Will Fleury (4-0-0) vs. Alen Amedovski (5-0-0) [Middleweight]

Maxim Radu (8-1-0) vs. Simone “Adrenaline” La Prezioza (3-4-0) [Lightweight}

Simone D’Anna (4-1-0) vs. Michele Martignone (3-0-0) [Featherweight] {Prelims}

Bellator 203 at a Glance:

Main Card: Saturday 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Time [tape-delayed on Paramount Network] (Patricio Pitbull vs. Daniel Weichel for the Featherweight title in the main event)
