The Bucks’ Weapons:
First off, for the Bucks: The easy choice of excitement is Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak has been a monster all year. He is averaging 28.3 points per game coupled with 10.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Whether it’s his transition offense, long and lean defensive presence or his absolute authority near the rim, Giannis has been a pleasure to watch all season long.
It’s not just Antetokounmpo who’s been doing great for the Bucks. Eric Bledsoe has been a huge addition to the Bucks offense, providing the much needed athletic potential for the point guard position. Khris Middleton has also been the e-point sniper that the Bucks so desire, making this team even more of a threat in the Eastern Conference.
The 76ers’ Weapons:
However, the 76ers have shown lots of potential for the future as well. Ben Simmons is a leader in the Rookie of Year conversation. He is averaging 16.8 points per game coupled with eight rebounds and 7.3 assists. As a rookie, the man is nearly averaging a triple-double and continues to guide his team towards a lower Playoff seed.
Not only Simmons, but Joel Embiid has continued to dominate the league as a tough all-around player. Although the team continues to miss their No. 1 pick in the draft Markelle Fultz. The 76ers’ future seems to be bright and they have fun while battling towards the Playoffs.
The Bucks and 76ers are a perfect example of what we expect to see as a match-up in the Conference Finals a few years from now (assuming both teams stay somewhat similar). They might be at the bottom of the Playoff spectrum right now, but only time will truly tell of both team’s talents.
