As in conference play begins in the Pac-12, ASU will open up against the Oregon Ducks in Tempe, Arizona.

The Sun Devils (1-2) will be looking to bounce back from two straight losses, one at home and one on the road, the latter coming by only one touchdown by a score of 52-45.

The Ducks (3-0) are ranked 24th in the nation and are looking to continue to climb the national rankings by dominating an ASU team that has struggled to find a rhythm this season.

The Ducks will look to outscore the Sun Devils, as the ASU defense has failed to keep an opponent under 30 points this season.

ASU will have to count on its offense to have the type of game they had last week against Texas Tech, as the Sun Devils put up 45 points in the loss.

The Sun Devils will be looking to key players such as junior quarterback Manny Wilkins Jr., sophomore wide receiver N’Keal Harry and senior running back Kalen Ballage.

These are the Sun Devils’ top players on the offensive side of the ball, and they will need to step up big time against the nationally ranked Oregon team in order for the Sun Devils to have a chance.

Also, this Saturday will be the Sun Devils’ annual maroon monsoon, where all ASU fans are encouraged to wear maroon, instead of the classic gold, to support ASU.

The team will also be wearing a maroon-based uniform which has not yet been revealed.

Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. MST on Saturday.

My name is Josh Zaklis. I was born in raised in New Jersey and now I live in Phoenix, Arizona to attend the Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I am a Yankees, Eagles, and Islanders fan which I know is a weird combination but that is what happens when you grow up in central Jersey. I hope to one day celebrate an Eagles super bowl victory and an Islanders Stanley Cup win but it doesn’t look like either of those things are happening anytime soon. So while I wait, I’ll cover Arizona State Sports.
