It was easy pickings for the writers in Week 17’s with some teams fighting for their playoff lives and others hoping to secure a better draft pick. Overall, it was one of the best performances of the season for the entire gang picking games against Vegas.

Eight of our ten writers had 10 or more correct picks against the spread (out of 16 total). Matt Martellucci set the high mark with a 13-3 record to end the regular season. It should be a nail-biter of a finish to this year’s NFL Pick’em as Martellucci’s Week 17 performance has him in 1st place with Milo Hay just one game back.

I grew up like most Philly fans in the 90s; watching my dad scream obscenities at the TV as the Eagles lost a heartbreaker. I idolized Allen Iverson (still do), and cried my eyes out when the Sixers lost four straight to the Lakers in the 2001 NBA Finals. I’ve seen some dark days in Philly, but have always Trusted the Process. Still have not stopped celebrating Super Bowl 52 and don’t plan on it anytime soon. Eagles are Super Bowl CHAMPS!
