Midweek MMA returns to UFC Fight Pass these next two Wednesday nights, beginning this week with Wednesday’s Alaska Fighting Championships event, AFC 152.

As always, this card will originate from the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage, with main card action beginning late night Wednesday (early Thursday) at midnight EDT, 9 p.m. PDT.

The main card will be preceded by early action on the promotion’s Facebook page.

In total, AFC 152 will feature eight mixed martial arts contests, though not all of them will be shown live during the broadcast.

Highlighting the Wednesday night show is a battle for the AFC’s Welterweight championship.

In the five-round contest, challenger Tyler Milner (8-5) will fight champion Charlie Johnson (7-1) in a rescheduling of a canceled fight from earlier in the year.

These two contenders were scheduled to meet during the Feb. 13 AFC 145 main event on UFC Fight Pass, but the fight didn’t happen that evening.

Contender Comparison:

Heading into this rescheduled main event, Tyler Milner is the taller contestant, standing six feet even, one inch taller than Charlie Johnson’s 5-foot-11 frame.

Milner has posted a record of 2-3 in his last five MMA appearances and enters this title contest on a two-fight losing streak.

Most recently, he lost to David Michaud by first-round submission on Oct. 27, 2017 in SCL 63: Rage in Rapid in that night’s main event.

In the other corner, Johnson has gone 4-1 in his last five fights and enters this championship contest on a two-fight winning streak.

Last time out, he scored a submission victory (rear-naked choke) against Jason Flowers in the main event of AFC 148 in May to take the title.

Ordinarily at this point in the article, we’d mention who has the reach advantage as per Tapology, however, no such information exists on the Website.

Prediction: Charlie Johnson by first-round knockout.
