Summer is winding down but the mixed martial arts fights keep heating up.

Wednesday night, the last event for the Alaska Fighting Championship, AFC 151, takes place in Anchorage.

In total, AFC 151 will feature eight MMA fights ranging from the Featherweight division to the Welterweight division.

The 2019-20 of AFC action will continue with the Sept. 19 AFC 152 event, as the Alaska Fighting Championship is now a year-round combat sports promotion.

Highlighting the card on Wednesday (midnight EDT, 9 p.m. PDT on UFC Fight Pass) is a three-round non-title fight in the AFC’s Featherweight division.

In the main event, 4-0 Chance Staggs will try to continue his winning streak against 2-6 Kris Berberich from the Alaska Airlines Center.

Contender Comparison:

Heading into this Wednesday night’s main event, both contestants stand at 5-foot-8.

Chance Staggs, who turns 25 years old in October, has yet to lose in his professional mixed martial arts career and most recently won in April’s AFC 147 by first-round submission due to a guillotine choke with only one second remaining on the first-round clock against Chante Stafford.

In the other corner, Kris Berberich has posted a mark of 2-3 in his last five MMA fights and enters this main event looking to stop a two-fight losing streak.

Most recently, he lost to Jared Mazurek by first-round submission due to a kneebar on June 19 during AFC 149 in the main event.

Ordinarily at this point in the article, we would mention who has the reach advantage on the tale of the tape as per Tapology, but no such information is available for this particular contest.

Prediction: Chance Staggs by first-round KO.
