The Philadelphia 76ers will have plenty of national televised games this upcoming season.

The NBA released a limited schedule for the 2018-2019 season and the 76ers were a popular team on the list.

Early chance for Revenge

The 76ers will have a chance to get back at the Boston Celtics to open the season on Oct. 16 on TNT. They will have the chance to start their season in the same place where it ended last year.

Hopefully Markelle Fultz will have a chance to play and make his mark on this rivalry after struggling in last year’s playoff matchup.

Other big games

After their clash with the Celtics, the 76ers return to the spotlight two days later on Oct. 18 to face the Chicago Bulls for their home opener.

Brett Brown’s first year as 76ers head coach (2013-2014) was the last time the team won their home opener. That streak should hopefully come to end this year.

For the second consecutive season, the 76ers will play on Christmas Day when they travel to Boston. The 76ers beat the New York Knicks, 105-98, last season in a game that turned their season around.

After starting the season 14-18, the 76ers victory helped turn them into a 52-game winner.

The Houston Rockets will come to town Jan. 21 on TNT for Martin Luther King Day. MLK Day is a big day for the league and their continued support of civil rights.

The Sixers will have the chance to thrive on prime time this season.
