The beginning of football season is right around the corner.  The Kentucky Wildcats kick off their season next week!  With high expectations for the team they are hoping to be atop of the conference.  If they can win the SEC East that will change the direction of the program.  Here’s three ways Kentucky can win the East;

Winning the big games

One of the key problems with the football program was coming up short in the big games.  With it being over 30 years since the last win over Florida, a win can be huge for the program.  If they can win these big inter-conference games they will have a special season.  They’re projected to win as many as nine games this season.  If they can do that, they have a real chance to win the East.

Explosive Offense

There has been plenty of questions around the football program this off season.  It’s said that Mark Stoops will finally announce his starting quarterback in a few days.  If he decides to go with Terry Wilson this team can be special.  He along side of Benny Snell and Dorian Baker returning this offense will plenty of weapons.  If they play up to their potential this team could be scary.

Elite Defense

With all the questions surrounding the offense, defense has been the backbone for this Kentucky team.  Returning multiple starters on defense will be huge for this team.  Led by Josh Allen and Mike Edwards they will be in good hands.  Returning for their senior years expect these two to be huge players for this defense.  With the talent and potential they have Kentucky’s defense can take them to the next level leading them to the top of the SEC.

Kentucky’s football season kicks off in almost a week.  Its almost that time BBN.  Get ready for a special season.
