The Titans are coming off one of the largest events in the team’s 20 year history. The recent unveiling of the new uniforms not only made a great party for over 20,000 fans, but also a silent notice that Nashville is ready to host one of the NFL’s premier events — the NFL Draft. With the growing hype of the city itself and other supporting factors, here are 3 reasons why Nashville should host the 2019 or 2020 NFL Draft.

1. The Titans Are Growing With Hype

The Titans are one of the main reasons this city should host the NFL Draft. After winning a playoff game in come from behind fashion on the road against the Chiefs, the stock of the Titans are at a high for the first time in years. The NFL could sell the franchise to future draftees as a franchise on the rise and full of young talent ready to explode and take on league. Of course though, any team needs young talent. Why not enrich the young incoming draft prospects in the history of a great franchise while they’re here? Bad idea? I think not.

2. The City of Nashville Is BOOMING

The city of Nashville has been growing exponentially over the last 5-10 years. More people are moving here than ever before. With more people moving here, this city can show the NFL was a true party downtown looks like. With the limitless supply of country music and party-like atmosphere on Broadway, this city can really give a draftee a good time, while accomplishing the life long dream of being drafted into the National Football League.

3. The Nashville Predators

If you paid attention to the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs, you know about the Predators and how they can turn the ordinary sports fan into a die hard hockey maniac. With the success the Predators have had the last couple of years, it would be a perfect time for a draftee to experience Nashville and a Predators game to have a little fun. Inside the arena or even outside, having the Predators involved in this process will be crucial because the fans can give a draftee an experience like they’ve never come close to experiencing before.

Nashville is ready to host an event of this magnitude. With the work that Amy Adams Strunk has done, hosting a draft would reward her for all of it. It’s time. It’s time for the city of Nashville and the Tennessee Titans to be put on the map for the whole country to see. Your move, NFL.
