Donovan Edwards Receives Offer

Donovan Edwards was one of the many recruits in attendance for Ohio State’s game against Tulane which they won 49-6. This was big for the 2021 running back who already holds seven Division 1 offers. The Sophomore is 5-11 and already weighs 190 pounds. He has incredible size for someone his age. Edwards is the running back for his West Bloomfield High School team in West Bloomfield, Mich. According to 247 Sports, Edwards is projected to go stay home and go to Michigan, but an offer from the Bucks may change his mind a little bit.

Ohio State Offers a Few Power Forwards

Caleb Furst: Furst is 6-8 and weighs 205 pounds. He goes to Blackhawk Christian School located in Fort Wayne, Ind. and is the No. 30 ranked prospect in the class of 2021. The left-hander is talented on the offensive end and hustles up and down the floor. Defensively he doesn’t have trouble blocking shots because he has a quick jump. What makes him such an intriguing player is the way he hustles up and down the floor because it opens things up in transition whether that be for him or for another player. Furst is currently a 5-star and holds offers from a number of Big Ten schools and also holds offers from Butler and Xavier.

Ben Carlson: Carlson is a 6-9 and 205-pound power forward from St. Paul, Minn. He is the No. 9 ranked player at his position in the class of 2020. Right now, he seems to only be seriously interested in playing for Stanford as according to the crystal ball predictions on 247 he is 100% going to Stanford. A school to look out for as his recruiting continues is Kansas State because his sister currently attends school there.
