Two weeks ago on Dana White’s Contender Series, it was a night where history was made.

Unfortunately for mixed martial arts fans, it wasn’t the good kind of history.

For the first time in the 18-episode history of the United States version of Contender Series, all five fights were left to the judges for a decision, with Miguel Baeza and Miles Johns each receiving deals in the Ultimate Fighting Championship from Dana White.

This brings the total number of UFC contracts awarded so far this summer to four.

After a week away due to International Fight Week, Contender Series returns to ESPN+ (Tuesday, 8 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. PDT) [streamed internationally on UFC Fight Pass] with five more MMA fights and more fighters trying to make it into the UFC.

Highlighting episode three of season three is a Lightweight main event between 9-2 James Wallace and 7-2 Joseph Solecki.

Contender Comparison: (note: reach information for the fighters in this main event was unavailable on Tapology)

Heading into this Tuesday night’s main event, James Wallace, who is the top-ranked Lightweight contender in Mississippi as per Tapology’s rankings algorithm, is the taller contestant.

He stands 5-foot-10, one inch taller than Joseph Solecki at 5-foot-9. Solecki is the No. 17 Lightweight contender in the southeast as per the Tapology algorithm.

Both competitors have posted 4-1 records in their last five fights.

For James Wallace, his last victory occurred during Summit FC 31 on Mar. 9 by first-round submission due to a rear-naked choke against Kaleb Harris in the main event to claim the promotion’s Lightweight title.

In the other corner, Joseph Solecki’s last win happened on Mar. 2 in CFFC 73 on UFC Fight Pass by decision vs. Jacob Bohn.

Prediction: James Wallace by first-round submission.

Four other fights make up this week’s card:

Antonio Trocoli (11-3) vs. Kenneth Bergh (6-0) [Light Heavyweight, co-main event]

Chris Ocon (4-0) vs. Hunter Azure (6-0) [Bantamweight]

Maki Pitolo (11-4) vs. Justin Sumter (7-2) [Middleweight]

Jonathan Pierce (8-3) vs. Jacob Rosales (11-4) [Lightweight]
