Halloween night in Las Vegas is going to be “where the big boys play”, as Tony Schiavone, the once and current pro wrestling commentator Tony Schiavone might have said.

But make no mistake:

This is no Halloween Havoc, the former Halloween-themed World Championship Wrestling pay-per-view event.

It’s PFL 9, the last card before the New Year’s Eve championship show.

PFL 9 features playoff fights from the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight postseason brackets.

Finalists advance to the Dec. 31 championship card where a $1 million prize and a customary championship belt is at stake.

The action begins this Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. EDT, 2 p.m. PDT on ESPN+, continuing with the remainder of the show at 8 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. PDT on ESPN2 .

If thought about, the timing of this event is perfect, because you can watch the early portion of the event while passing out candy to any trick-or-treaters that might come knocking on your door.

You can then skip a boring Halloween party that you were invited to and stay home and watch the rest of the event at home instead.

If your friends were smart, they’d have held that Halloween party last weekend.

For some reason, if you can’t get out of going to the Halloween party you were invited to (or if you’ve been tasked with hosting the soiree,) you can always watch through the ESPN mobile app.

As far as the card goes this Thursday night, there have been no injury-related changes to this show as of this writing (Oct. 29, 2019).

If this should change between now and Thursday night, we’ll pass that information to you.

Should you need a refresher course as to who’s fighting in this week’s event, don’t worry because we have you covered.

Trick or treat, everybody!
