Last week’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series can best be summed up with a paraphrased quote from legendary daytime talk show host Oprah Winfrey:

“YOU get a contract! YOU get a contract and YOU get a contract! EVERYBODY GETS A CONTRACT!”

Even Contender Series post-fight interviewer Laura Sanko referenced Oprah by name in her weekly interview with Dana White after the main event last Tuesday.

Jonathan Pearce, Maki Pitolo, Hunter Azure, Antonio Trocoli, and Joseph Solecki all won UFC contracts on last week’s program.

It was the first time in the 19-episode history of Dana White’s Contender Series that he awarded contracts to all five winners on a program.

Let’s look ahead now to episode four of season three (Tuesday, 8 p.m. EDT/5 PDT on ESPN+ in the United States and UFC Fight Pass internationally.)

Highlighting the card is a main event in the Middleweight ranks. In the main event, 9-3 Stephen Regman will face 8-2 Antonio Arroyo.

Contender Comparison:

Heading into the Tuesday night main event, Antonio Arroyo is the taller contestant. He stands at six feet even, an inch taller than Stephen Regman at 5-foot-11.

Both fighters in this contest enter the fight having posted 4-1 records in their last five MMA appearances. Both come in on four-fight winning streaks.

For Regman, the No. 4 Middleweight contender in New Jersey as per Tapology’s regional rankings algorithm, his last fight resulted in a first-round knockout of Will Santiago in LFA 49 last September on AXS TV.

In the other corner, Arroyo’s last fight resulted in a decision victory against Diego Henrique during the season two finale of Contender Series on Aug. 10, 2018 on Fight Pass.

The Tale of the Tape:

Tapology shows that Regman owns a 3.5-inch reach advantage over Arroyo (77 inches to 73.5 inches) heading into the main event.

Prediction: Stephen Regman by first-round TKO.

Four other fights make up this Tuesday night’s card:

Armando Villareal (5-1) vs. Ode Osbourne (7-2) [Bantamweight, co-main event]

Dontale Mayes (6-2) vs. Ricardo Prasel (10-2) [Heavyweight]

Lance Lawrence (5-0) vs. Kevin Syler (8-0) [Featherweight]

Brendan Allen (11-3) vs. Aaron Jeffery (6-1) [Middleweight]
