With the 30th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected TJ Watt.

Position: Edge

Height: 6’4″

Weight: 252 LBS

40-Yard Dash Time: 4.69 Sec

Arm Length: 33 1/8″

How He Fits: The Steelers fix their biggest need by taking an edge player at pick 30.  The younger brother of JJ Watt, he is a highly athletic player that will be able to learn behind James Harrison.  If JJ develops half as well as his brother, this is an excellent pick.

Although not from the Pittsburgh area, he is a massive Steeler fan, having fallen in love with the intense nature and physicality of players like Troy Polamalu, Aaron Smith, and especially James Harrison. His hobbies include long walks on the beach, cardio, and lying about his hobbies.
